"THE NEW CANASTA HONOR LADDER"
                                              
The staff and I are pleased to announce an exciting new league to offer our friends and neighbors.  The rules are simple, short, and easy to understand.  The way we play on this ladder are
as simple as well.  You will play as we always have.  This means, that if you win a game against your opponent and your opponent is above you in rank, then you will climb 50% up the ladder to where your opponent is.  Example:

#10 plays #1.  #10 wins.  He would then be #5.  #1 would remain #1. or if
#36 plays/wins #1, he would move up to#18.

A new twist to this ladder will be:

Every six months, (starting January 1, and June 1,
we will be 2 1/2 months ahead at this start up.) we will turn the ladder back to 0.  Every player on these dates will be placed 'unranked' again until you play and win. In other words, we start over.
